Update! Challenge 9

Well things are showing no signs of slowing down and I am frantically trying to meet a couple of deadlines, which I honestly don't know how I am possibly going to achieve them LOL!!

Above is my card for CRAFT Challenge, I had to recycle a previous design as I had so little time to spare.

Yesterday morning was a fun day in the morning I ran a jewellery workshop, I love these as I get to sit and chat with like minded people and we really have a fun time. Then in the afternoon, I finished the place settings I had to do for an up and coming wedding. Only the Table plan and Order of services left to do. (my last wedding stationery order, as I am just too busy with new developments to take on anymore).

Then till late last night it was back to the drawing board (so to speak) for the things I am not allowed to say yet. OOH I could burst. There are only a few ladies who know what is going on, and I know I am probably driving them insane with my confidence issues and do you think? Good Idea- Bad Idea? Will it work? Questions. SO bless you , that are listening to me through this - Especially Anne and Karen, two of the most lovely ladies who have boosted my bruised and deflated non existant ego on so many occassions.

Speak soon I hope and hope I can get around to posting makes more frequently too.

Workshops and Demos Galore!

Okay I have been meaning to put this link on for a while:
For Today and until next post the link to all my workshops and demos will be here for you all to see. Then it will be moved over to my Side bar. It would be lovely to meet some of you fom time to time.

Hi Everyone, Sorry for the delay in posting. I have been so busy this week, things were quieting down and then BAM!!! on Thursday afternoon, out of the blue, I had a phonecall that has huge potential for me and thats all I can say until after the middle of August.

Honestly, sat panicking, feeling excited, nervous and really is this going to happen feeling all in one go. Will let you know as soon as I can.

Any who, above was my DT card for the CRAFT challenge this week sorry for the delay in putting it on my blog. Using POPCORN CD from Crafters Companion. I don't normally do Discs but made an exception for popcorn.

Any way I have got to finish a wedding order so better go.

OH My word! just noticed I have passed over 10,000 hits so I will try to arrange some blog Candy soon, as a celebration.

New IN!!!!

Ohh! I am so excited the new stamps have been launched and are flying off the shelves, at http://www.justtracys.co.uk/. There are Christmas, stoneage and Safari stamps, the Sympathy sentiment stamp sold out within 1 1/2 hours of going on sale. New stock will be added shortly along with sentiments to match the above ranges.

Finally!!!

Managed to get on here, I have been away working again this week at Flutterby Crafts, Demonstrating on Saturday last week, Sunday was workshop day using the scrummy My Minds Eye Collection of papers, hidden Journalling was on the agenda, Yes I do scrapbook, but not as often as I'd like.

Then on Monday I was in talking with my stamp manufacturer, proofing the converted rubber of my my little hand drawings about my new rubber stamp collections all three sets "21" yes 21 new designs.
Tuesday I helped in Lynns shop and got to meet the two work experience girls Laura and Rachel, bless they got to do all the boring bits, but we did let them take part in my card workshop on Tuesday afternoon all ladies were recent arrivals to the cardmaking world and I hope I managed to inspire them.

Wednesday was another workshop, but this time in the evening and there were 7 ladies who have been cardmaking a while and we really had a good laugh, time flew by so fast.

Then On the thursday morning I nearly forgot to put the new Craft Challenge up as I had to do a special workshop with two ladies (Claire and Louise), all about colouring with different mediums, I love doing these, as the satisfaction on peoples faces when they finally grasp the ease of which getting great results, with their preferred method makes it so worth while.

Friday was Manic, my stamps are in my clutches and I sat with Laura and Rachel and we got to work on packaging them all up for the Newbury Art stamp show at the weekend.

The weekend!!
Saturday was manic, I was amazed as I sold out of My Sympathy design by lunchtime on Saturday, I thought I had enough to do the whole show with some spare. The other stamps proved just as popular. Thanks to everyone that came and sat and Played with promarkers with me.

Don't forget to check out www.justtracys.co.uk By the end of the week all the new stamps should be uploaded by Sunday.

Today I am off to CraftTime, a craft wholesaler to view their new product ranges. Then Home tomorrow, Its been a long stint away again and I am pine-ing for my hubby, daughters and barney, now, but hey I can't complain. Life is good.

Joanna Wright , If you are reading this I hope it makes up for the fact I have not posted all week, it was lovely to see you again both at the shop and at the show, Let me know if you were tempted by the new Machine. LOL!!!!

Craft Challenge 6

Can you believe, another week has been and gone. Well After having such a good Saturday, things have gone down hill since, Major decisions need to be made, will enlighten you all once I have figured them out my self. Why is work/ life balance so hard?

Any whos onto this weeks challenge over at Craft Challenge

They have chosen to do a Inspiration picture this week, so using the pic below we had to come up with a project inspired by it.

Here is my bad effort. TIme is definately against me all the time at the moment and my Camera is playing up. So had to scan this one. It is a thankyou teacher card with a detachable bookmark. The papers are Cosmo Cricket with alphabet buttons on.

Bye for now

Where did Sunday and Monday GO!!!

URM! Morning and is it really Tuesday.
I will try to show you something tomorrow I promise.

My Mums party was absolutely B****y BRILLIANT!! So many cousins came and friends, I drank way to much more of that later. Mum Cried a lot. It was great.

I was lectured by some well meaning friends, that I am putting way to much time into my work, and not just meeting old friends and playing enough, to be fair they are sooo right. It really put things out there for me, so to speak, to have a good look at the way I do things.

I cooked from 8.15am till 4pm and then Mum, Jo (my eldest daughter,22), mums best Friend Margaret and I opened the Champagne and Strawberries.

Just as we opened them my Aunt and cousin walked through the door (they are from Portsmouth) and Quoted "How did we know you would be drinking already TRACY" Er, Hello it was not just me. ( I drink a lot less than I used too, believe me).

Left Mum at 5.30 to nip home for a quick shower and change to be at party for 6.45pm. By 7.30 that place was packed. I don't know how it got to midnight so quick.

When I was growing up we had a guy next door 7 years older than us that lived with his gran, and I have known him all my life (like from 0), he is my honorary big brother. Now my Daughters landlord. He came and I still act like "yes, big brother, no big brother around him" so embarrasing, but he says I am his Maverick.

So we gate crashed her house to carry on partying. So myself, hubby, two daughters, future SIL and big brother could carry on drinking and chatting. Well Slowly everyone drifted off to bed or in my Hubbys case Home (2 blocks away), and left me and steve catching up, reminiscing L0L!!!!! When he got up to get us drinks he looked at me and said bloomin heck its daylight, thats when we realised it was 7.30am. My husband thinks it is hilarious, when I get in the door and wants to let me know that the neighbours will be gossiping about me and this chap - poor Dale (abandoned husband) and how I am so going to suffer in the morning. I had the last laugh, I got up at 9.30am, had a shower and bacon and egg sandwich and felt great.

So why have I droned on so much - To remind you all to take time to smell the roses. I intend to just a little bit more.
